Ga. Man Gordon Kent Nelson Charged with Biting 8-Year-Old Girls

A Georgia man is facing misdemeanor battery charges after investigators say he allegedly bit two 8-year-old girls-- one on the hip and the other on her calf.

Forsyth County Sheriff Ted Paxton says 44-year-old Gordon Kent Nelson of Cumming tued himself in on Tuesday moing. He is charged with biting the girls on two separate incidents. One, Paxton says, took place on March 29 of this year, and the other happened in August 2009.

Sheriff Paxton says in the 2009 incident, the victim was an oveight guest of Nelson’s daughter in his home. In the most recent incident, the victim was the daughter of a lady friend of Nelson, and the incident happened in the friend’s home when Nelson was alone with the girl.

The sheriff said neither of the girls required extensive medical treatment. One was bitten above the hip and the other on her left calf.
