A man was arrested in Forsyth County after police said that his family found destructive devices in their home.

According to authorities, the family alerted police when they found the suspicious devices in the home on Nov. 16.

The bomb squad responded and found several hazardous devices, according to police.

Authorities said that the devices were homemade by Jeremy Ives, 24, but they don't believe he had immediate plans to use the devices.

He wasn't at the home when police arrived, but was picked up later in Hall County and taken to the Forsyth County Detention Center.

Ives was charged with possession of a destructive device. His bond was set at $11,110.
