Fatal stabbing at graduation party leaves one dead, suspect Lintrel Gilbert arrested
The Marietta Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred at Laurel Park on Manning Road Saturday.
Police say around 11:31pm officers responded to Laurel Park after receiving a call about a stabbing incident.
When officers arrived they found a 36 year old man with multiple stab wounds.
The victim was rushed to Kennestone Hospital where he later died.
Police say while attending a graduation party at Laurel Park, Lintrel Gilbert stabbed John Benson during an altercation.
Gibson has been arrested is currently in custody at the Cobb County Jail.
