ROSWELL, GA -- A Maine woman who pleaded guilty to driving drunk and causing a crash that killed a Roswell mom will spend the next several years in prison.

Courtney Alysabeth Washboue, 39, of Maine, pleaded guilty Thursday moing to charges of vehicular homicide, disobeying a traffic control device and having an open container of alcohol in her vehicle in the Aug. 21 crash that claimed the life of Sharon Freeman, 59.

On Thursday, in a courtroom packed with Freeman's loved ones, a judge sentenced Washboue to eight years in prison and seven on probation.
