Michael Chester, 20, a DeKalb County man, received two consecutive life sentences Monday for kidnapping and assaulting four women.

A 20-year-old DeKalb County man received two consecutive life sentences Monday for kidnapping and assaulting four women.

Michael Chester was found guilty on 18 charges relating to four separate incidents beginning in August 2008.

Chester lured or forced at gunpoint female victims into his car, DeKalb County District Attoey Robert James said. Two of Chester's four victims escaped the attack by jumping out of the vehicle, but the other two women were sexually assaulted.

”Michael Chester is a menace to our community, James said. ”Now, he is behind bars for the heinous and senseless crimes he committed.
