Commerce Woman Jennifer Minish Assault at Tanger Outlet
Jennifer Minish said Wednesday was a creepy day. While working alone at the hat store, Lids, at Tanger Outlet in Commerce, Ga., a man walked into the store and began touching her inappropriately.
"He grabbed my wrists and come to the van with me and I said, 'No. Get your hands off me!'" said Minish. "Then he tried to kiss me. I pulled away like that, but he tried.
Minish said the man groped her several times and even tried to pull her to his vehicle. Fortunately, she was able to get away.
"He was like, 'Let's go to the van. I have perfume and chocolates.' I said 'No, I don't want to go with you,'" said Minish.
Police said, shortly after the first incident, another employee from another store called them and reported a similar situation. They showed that employee the surveillance video from Lids and she confirmed it was the same man.
Minish told authorities that the man warned her that he would be back.
Police want to question the man who is described as older, wearing a white ball cap, khakis and a dark shirt. Investigators said the man was driving a gold minivan with Connecticut tags.
Minish said if she sees him again, she will immediately call authorities.
