A Cobb County girls basketball coach is no longer with the team after allegations of hazing.

One player's mother is upset the school system is not saying if he'll still get to teach.

When Alexia Clarke saw and heard things surrounding the Kell High School girls’ basketball team, she raised the red flags with the district and filed a complaint.

She said bullying and intimidation was facilitated by the coach and assistant coach.

”It’s frustrating because we have the right to know. We entrust the Cobb County school district to look after our kids when we send them there, Clarke said.

A letter saying the district is taking "appropriate disciplinary action" against Kell High Coach Craig Hines was received

The school district wouldn't say much more, classifying it as an inteal disciplinary matter.

Clarke is also frustrated the assistant coach remains and insists her complaints are not a case of sour grapes about her daughter's role on the team.

”It’s not about playing time. My daughter starts and plays most of the game, every game. It’s about the quality of the program and the impact it has in society today, Clarke said.
