Cobb County police say 24-year old Gary Moore, Jr., is accused of putting a puppy in a hot oven, severely burning her.

COBB COUNTY, Ga. - Cobb County police have arrested and charged a man on felony animal cruelty charges.

Detectives say 24-year old Gary Moore, Jr., is accused of putting a puppy in a hot oven, severely buing her.

The 20-month old pit bull mix survived, but has bus from head to toe. The puppy is being given pain killers and antibiotics.

Moore is being held at the Cobb County Jail.
