A Clayton County man has been arrested for grabbing and kissing a 14 year old student as she walked to school. 28 year old Ballard Simmons Jr., is charged with child molestation, enticing a child for indecent purposes and sexual battery of a person under 16.

"Your honor, I just want to say I'm not guilty.  I did not admit to that," Simmons told Clayton County Magistrate Court Judge Beatriz Scott during his hearing on Tuesday.

The student told police she was walking from the doctor’s office to Drew High School when Simmons approached her and asked if he could sniff her. The girl walked toward the back of the school and Simmons grabbed her waist and buttocks and attempted to kiss her, according to the criminal warrant obtained by Channel 2’s GA Daily News.

The student elbowed Simmons and managed to get away, then alerted officers who said they found Simmons nearby. Police said Simmons admitted to asking the student if he could kiss her, grabbing her and trying to kiss her buttocks. Police told Jones they found a text message on Simmons phone that talked about his kissing fetish.
