Bicycle rider killed in collision with charter bus

EMERSON, Ga. — Authorities are investigating the death of a bicyclist who was struck by a charter bus along U.S. Highway 41 in Emerson.

Bartow County Fire Battalion Chief Sandy Tuer identified the man as 31-year-old Andrew Quin Pray of Dallas, Ga.

Tuer said Pray died Wednesday afteoon after being struck by the bus as he rode his bike northbound along the highway south of Red Top Mountain.

The Atlanta Joual-Constitution reports (http://bit.ly/XDuidA) that Pray was a worship pastor at West Ridge Church in Dallas, where he led the band and often sang alongside his wife.

Emerson is about 35 miles northwest of Atlanta.
