Atlanta police are investigating whether a driver that was pulled over near the Four Seasons hotel is responsible for a series of overnight crimes, Friday, November 5.

ATLANTA - Atlanta police are investigating whether a driver that was pulled over near the Four Seasons hotel is responsible for a series of oveight crimes.

Officers say a woman's purse was stolen at Peachtree and 3rd Streets.

Another man says he was walking down Peachtree Street near the Georgian Terrace hotel when a gunman approached him and demanded money.

Police say the robber shot him in the arm. He was taken to Atlanta Medical Center in stable condition.

Meanwhile, police pulled over a PT cruiser when they saw it speeding.

The driver hopped out of the car near the Four Seasons hotel and tried to run away.

He dropped a purse with a handgun in it.

Officers caught the driver near 14th Street.
