Cobb County deputies said they arrested an Atlanta Police supervisor on suspicion of drunk driving.

The incident happened in late august on a Kennesaw Road.

A Cobb County officer reported spotting Robert Joseph Albertini going back and forth over a double yellow line.

Albertini refused to do a field sobriety test and was taken to the Cobb County jail.

Chief George Tuer once directly supervised the well respected Albertini. He assigned him to the office of professional standards.

Tuer says he has placed the officer on suspension and will conduct an administrative hearing before making a decision on his future.
