APD Officer Stung by Yellow Jackets
An Atlanta police officer is hospitalized after being stung by a swarm of yellow jackets early Friday.
Authorities say the yellow jackets stung the officer on the arms an head while he was chasing a suspect through a kudzu patch. Four other officers were also stung.
The suspect, who allegedly took off after running a red light, was caputured after falling and hitting his head.
