An Atlanta police officer who was shot in the face on Friday night remains in intensive care at Grady Memorial Hospital.  Doctors say Officer Reggie Robinson is alert and responsive.

Officer Robinson was shot near West End Mall in southwest Atlanta.  Investigators say he was questioning a man about a suspected drug deal when the suspect ran away, and then fired shots at Officer Robinson.

Police arrested 20-year-old Frank Nance.  He faces a number of charges including assault on a police officer.  Nance is being held without bond at the Fulton County Jail.
