An Alpharetta man died in a skydiving accident in Polk County Saturday, officials said.
Polk County Coroner's Office Rodrigo V. Bianchini, 41, of Alpharetta, was killed in a Polk County skydiving accident.

Tony Brazier, Polk County deputy coroner, said Rodrigo V. Bianchini, 41, died early Saturday moing while jumping with a group of skydivers Saturday.

Brazier said Bianchini apparently tried to skim across a pond when landing but hit the water too hard.

He died at the scene.
