CUMMING, Ga. - Authorities in Forsyth County say a 9-year-old girl who was pulled from the Chattahoochee River after she went missing on a tubing trip on Friday afteoon has died.

According to authorities, the girl and two teens were on a raft near Highway 20, and they somehow ended up in the water. The girl had to be rescued, and she was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.   She later died as a result of her injuries.

The two teens were found safe, authorities said.
