19 Hospitalized in MARTA bus crash

Nineteen people were taken to the hospital Monday moing after a MARTA bus crashed into a tree.

The crash took place near Nathan Road Southwest and Brownlee Place Southwest on Monday moing.

The driver is among those transported to the hospital.

Atlanta police said the bus hit a tree and MARTA confirmed the bus hit a fixed object.

MARTA said Atlanta police did not issue the driver a citation in the crash.
