Yale eggheads say obesity is contagious
Do you think you can catch chubbiness from your mate?

If you have a gut feeling that your partner may be the reason you're packing on the pounds, you may be onto something.

A study out of Yale University claims that obesity and liver disease alters the microbes in your stomach, a condition that may actually be contagious.

Researchers determined that healthy mice mixed in with altered-microbe mice had increased susceptibility to becoming overweight, much like their already-afflicted rodent ringers.

While some Tweeps are already imploring their more-corpulent comrades to steer clear (@TEEnsign was, \"Go away I don't want to catch your fat.\"), other critics are already blasting the study as just another example of \"fat-shaming.\"

Do you think you can catch chubbiness from your mate?
