China fitness trend: Exercise fanatics take to all fours to crawl around parks
Odd new exercise trend emerges in China as residents crawl on all fours

AN odd new trend has recently emerged in the Chinese city of Zhengzhou, in which fitness fanatics take to all fours to crawl around parks.

According to reports, the participants include both the young and the elderly, and they claim that the light exercise does wonders for their backs and spines.

Some believe that the practice has its source in ancient Chinese medical practice and dates back nearly 2,000 years to the Han Dynasty.

Here are some photos of the crawling craze, some of which may be scrapes.
