According to the WHO, Bacon poses same cancer risk as cigarettes,

Eating bacons and other processed meat exposes you to the same cancer risk people who smoke cigarettes expose themselves to claims A World Health Organization agency.

WHO's Inteational Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) will release their findings in Monday's edition of The Lancet Oncology, according to the reports. 

News of the pending report sparked criticism from industries that could be affected by the news.

Even before the report was released, a spokesperson for the National Cattlemen's Beef Association said there's no scientific data to show a causal link between cancer and meat.
