Authorities in Carrollton say one worker was killed and another was injured on Thursday moing as they tried to install a heating and air conditioning unit into the attic of a home. They say the worker who died was electrocuted.

It happened in the attic of a home on Canterbury Driver in Carrollton. Authorities first said there had been a gas explosion, but they then leaed the man had been electrocuted instead.

Both workers were employed by Maxwell Heating and Cooling. One was killed, and the other was taken to a hospital with injuries.

Authorities say somehow the victims came into contact with a live electrical line in the attic as they tried to install a heating and air conditioning unit. The investigation is still underway, but at this point, they say, it appears to have been a tragic accident.

The names of the victims have not yet been released.
