Woodstock Game Store Play N Trade Hit 3 Times

A store in Woodstock was ripped off, not once, but three times in less than an hour. Police said once the thieves were through, about $2,000 in goods were missing.

Police said men broke into the Play N Trade store on Eagle Drive three times Sunday morning.

Detectives said the thieves broke in the first time at 7:25 a.m. by breaking through the window and stole Guitar Hero kits.

Officers said the thieves went back into the store seven minutes later and walked out with Wii and PlayStation games.

Police said 24 minutes later, the thieves entered a third time and took an X Box 360.

The store's manager said about $2,000 worth of games were stolen.

Over a span of about 30 minutes, police said the men entered through a broken window and headed straight for the high priced merchandise.

"The first suspect entered the store went straight back to the back wall knew specifically what he was going to take out of store. There wasn't a whole lot of looking around," said Paul Brown of the Woodstock Police Department.

Police said they suspect the men may have been in the store before or stores like it.
A $500 reward is being offered in the case.

Woodstock police are looking for a green or teal colored car that was parked outside the store in the morning.

Anyone with information on the case should call the Woodstock Police Department.
