Police arrested two Athens women after an undercover investigation into prostitution on the Inteet.

Agents with the Gainesville Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad arrested the women after finding an advertisement on a website.

Lindsey Jan Booker, 29, and Candace Trevigne Carter, 22, drove from Athens to Hall County where they met undercover officers and offered to exchange sex for money, police said.

Both women are being held in the Hall County Jail on prostitution charges.
