A Tennessee doctor was arrested in northwest Georgia where for allegedly attempting to have sex with a minor.

The Atlanta Joual-Constitution (http://bit.ly/RDABVg ) reports that 35-year-old Vikul Patel was arrested Sunday in Rossville, Ga., by agents from the FBI-led Safe Child Task Force.

Patel was charged with attempted child molestation and violation of the Computer Poography Act. Patel is being held at the Walker County Detention Center.

FBI spokesman Stephen Emmett said in a statement that Patel, a doctor of inteal medicine, began a series of chats with undercover agents "regarding his desires to have sex with a minor child."
