MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - Milledgeville police are investigating the death of a 14-year-old whose body was pulled from the Oconee River.

Baldwin County Coroner John Gonzalez identified the teen as Devan Simmons. He says Simmons was walking with a friend along a bridge when he slipped and fell into the water at about 5 p.m. Sunday.

Police say the body was recovered from the river at about 6:45 p.m.
