Teenage Boy Shot Mulitple Times In Sandy Springs

SANDY SPRINGS -- Sandy Springs police say a teenage boy was shot multiple times in the back Tuesday night.

The shooting took place at around 10 p.m. along Northwoods Drive off Roswell Road.

Paramedics found the teen on a sidewalk with three or four gunshot wounds to the back.

Lt. Steve Rose of the Sandy Springs Police Department told CBS Atlanta the victim, who is 14 or 15-years-old, was conscious at the scene.

Emergency workers transported him to a local hospital.

The only description police had for the shooters was two men in blue jeans and hoodies.

Rose said investigators did not immediately have a motive.
