- Smya Police have arrested a two suspects who allegedly robbed a 16-year-old boy at gun point in a Cobb County park.

On September 16, officials say Shawn Porter pointed a handgun at the teen’s chest in Cobb Park in Smya and demanded that he handed over all of his money. Porter then took the boy’s book bag, wallet and $90 in cash, and ran off with another suspect, identified as Jordon Hamilton.

Both suspects got into a black Ford Fusion, reportedly driven by Hamilton, and fled the scene.

Both Porter and Hamilton are charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm and carrying weapons in a school zone.

Court records show the incident occurred 500 feet from Campbell High School, located at 5265 Ward Street.
