Taxi Driver Found Dead Inside His Cab in Marietta

MARIETTA, Ga. - The body of a cab driver has been found inside his taxi at a Marietta apartment complex. He had been shot to death.

Cobb County Officer Joseph Heandez told the Atlanta Joual-Constitution that the taxi had apparently been parked in front of the Lincoln Hills Apartment complex with the engine running for some time when a witness reported noticing the driver was not moving.

The driver's name has not been released. Police told the AJC that the driver had been shot in the head.
