Law enforcement authorities were searching Tuesday for an alleged kidnapper and his victim following an altercation at a College Park home, officials said.

Police have asked local news media outlets to refrain from reporting many of the details in the case, citing a possible threat to the victim. The identities of the suspect and victim were pending.

Authorities said a man wanted for questioning in an earlier murder went to a College Park home, where he allegedly assaulted two other men and abducted a third man. The two men left the scene and were being sought by police.

A motive for the attack was not immediately available.
