Suspect flees in car of woman shot, killed in Smyrna

Smya police are looking for the person who fatally shot a woman then fled the scene in her car.

The shooting happened early Monday moing outside Doc's Food & Spirits on Cumberland Boulevard.

Police identified the victim as Ebone Driskell.

Police said the suspect fled in the victim's 2003 four-door Ford Taurus. The silver car bears the tag BYT 0429.

Anyone with information about the suspect's whereabouts and other details about the crime is asked to call the Smya Police Department at 770-434-6666.
