Suspect Earlin Turner in fatal clerk shooting arrested

DeKalb County police have arrested the man suspected of shooting and killing a convenience store clerk earlier this week.

Police said they arrested Earlin Tuer, 52, on charges that he killed Damodar Pathak at the BP Food Mart on Cedar Grove Road.

Pathak, 39, was shot in the abdomen late Monday night and later died at Grady Memorial Hospital.

The other man present for the shooting tued himself in earlier this week and was cleared of any criminal activity, police said.
