The shooting started as an argument inside of a JR Crickets restaurant in the area of Forsyth and Poplar streets. Then the confrontation spilled over outside the restaurant.

Adam Schumaker, a resident in the area, told reporters the incident sounded like it involved two rapid bursts of automatic gunfire. Then he saw people start to run, he said.

Investigators were called to the scene.

And oveight, workers used plywood to cover up shattered windows at JR Crickets and a Downtown Eyecare on Forsyth.
