Suspect Alexander Ezekiel Cordell Nabbed in Sandy Springs Shooting
A woman was gunned down outside a Sandy Springs apartment complex Tuesday. Police later arrested the woman's 18-year-old son.
Investigators said the woman was ambushed and shot while she waited at the entrance gate of the Preserves at Dunwoody apartment complex in Sandy Springs just before 4:00 p.m.
The woman's SUV rolled down a hill and came to a stop across the street from the complex.
Investigators spent most of the afteoon interviewing witnesses in the shooting.
Investigators named a suspect in the shooting Tuesday evening. Police said they were looking fro 18-year-old Alexander Ezekiel Cordell.
