Stocking Strangler Carlton Gary Hearing Rescheduled
Carlton Gary

Carlton Gary's defense attoey Jack Martin said Thursday the hearing has been postponed until early next year. He said an exact date hasn't been decided yet.

Gary was sentenced to death in 1986 on charges of strangling three elderly women with their own stockings in the 1970s. But DNA results released this week raised conces about his conviction.

The results showed Gary's semen was not found in one of the women he was convicted of killing. A sample for the second victim was inconclusive and a sample for the third was not tested.

But DNA was found in the body of a woman he was not convicted of killing.
