Goveor Sonny Perdue is expected to name a special investigator Friday to look into charges of cheating at Georgia schools.

The state's Professional Standards Commission is charged with disciplining educators.

It had been trying to find out who changed answers on CRCT tests and why.

Atlanta schools says it submitted 108 teachers and administrators to the PSC but the commission says it only has the proper paperwork on eight.

Goveor Sonny Perdue says the special investigator that he'll name will have a legal background and subpoena power -- something the PSC doesn't have.

Embattled superintendent Beverly Hall says she welcomes the investigation.
