Sources confirm to GA Daily News that the body of 13-year-old Griffin Prince was found just after 6 p.m. Wednesday evening.

Divers from the Hall County Sheriff's off and the FBI recovered the body from an area where they were conducting their most dangerous dives yet.

Divers located debris near earleir in the day near the crash site at depths of about 100-120 feet officials said in a late day news conference.

"The frustration level has been pretty high around here the past few days and this gives us a good feeling that we are going back out in the moing. These guys are pretty tired," said Captain Mark Pridgett with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.

Hall County authorities said a drunken boater slammed into Griffin's family's pontoon boat near Buford Dam at Shoal Creek, killing his 9-year-old brother Jake Prince. The body of 13-year-old Griffin has yet to be recovered after several days of searching.

Divers from the Hall County Sheriff's Office and the FBI have been in the water since 7 a.m. Wednesday doing their most difficult dives yet, Channel 2's Aaron Diamant reported from the scene.

He said divers focused on an area the size of a football field about 300 feet south of the crash, where the water is well over 100 feet deep. Searchers say it's a very dangerous undertaking.

The FBI is using military-style diving equipment which allows divers to go down deeper and stay in the water longer.

Meanwhile, search crews are still using high-tech sonar for any sign of Griffin.

Members of the Prince family have been at the command post the whole time waiting for any word.

On Monday, cadaver dogs alerted to a dead body odor. Dogs were taken back out and confirmed the area again on the next day.
