DeKalb County police say Sky Haven Elementary School is on lockdown following a shooting nearby.

The school is located on Sky Haven Road S.E. in Atlanta, and police say the shooting took place at 1000 Gresham Avenue. Police said one person was shot in the arm, but no other details were available.

The school was put on lockdown as a precaution, police said. Officers said a suspect was possibly seen in a wood-lined area near the school.
