Shooting near Greenbriar Mall leaves three dead
ATLANTA - Police are investigating a shooting near the Greenbriar Mall in southwest Atlanta that left three people dead Sunday moing.
Authorities have identified the victims as 22-year-old David Worrell, 28-year-old Rickie Burke, and 27-year-old Ahmad Johnson
According to authorities with the Atlanta Police Department, two men in their late 20s were killed around 4 a.m at the parking lot of the Checker's restaurant near the Greenbriar Mall and a third man was transported to an area hospital where he later passed away from injuries sustained in the shooting.
It is unclear what prompted the shooting.
