Shooting at Avana Apartments in Brookhaven leaves one dead
ATLANTA - Police are investigating a shooting at an apartment complex in Brookhaven Thursday evening.
Authorities say the incident occurred at Avana Apartments, and one victim later identified as 26-year-old Travis Ridley was transported to Grady Hospital and later died.
No suspects were in custody as of 7 p.m., Gurley said.
