Shooting and fiery wreck related, say officials

Police have confirmed that an early moing shooting incident and a fiery wreck along interstate 75 are connected.

Investigators focused on a white car found on Williams Street which is where a man was found dead after having been shot to death around 4a.m. A short distance away, near Northside Drive, police rushed to the scene of another emergency. There, witnesses say, a man claiming to be the brother of the shooting victim had been involved in a motor vehicle accident with a big rig. The collision had started a fire. Witnesses say the man frantic, banging on the windows of passing cars, asking for help.

Atlanta police have yet to release any information about a suspect in the shooting.
