Sheriff: Tennessee woman Catherine Goins lured, killed another woman to steal her children
Police say a woman lured a mother to a northwest Georgia home, killed her and stole her children.
It took investigators at the Catoosa County Sheriff's Office a few days to figure out what they say really happened
Police say on Friday Catherine Goins, 37, of Hixson Tennessee, shot Natalia Roberts, 30, of LaFayette, at her home on Smoketree Circle in Ringgold.
Investigators say Goins lured Roberts to the house under the pretense of giving her some clothes for her baby.

In cold blood: Sheriff's officials say Goins shot the woman (pictured) in the back of the head and then took off in her car with the victim's two children
Investigators say the two had never met before, so it's not clear how they got together.
Once inside the home, investigators say Goins shot Roberts in the back of the head.
After shooting the mom, Sherriff Gary Sisk says Goins took Roberts' children, a 3-week-old baby and a 3-year-old, and left the house, which belonged to a one-time boyfriend.
He says Goins' most-recent boyfriend had recently left her after leaing she'd been lying to him.
"Catherine Goins had been living a ruse that she had been pregnant with her most recent boyfriend's baby. But he had recently leaed she was not pregnant and left her. Catherine Goins killed Natalia Roberts because she wanted her baby," Sisk said.
Investigators say Goins originally claimed Roberts was an intruder. Goins is charged with murder.
