Sheriff’s Office: Gainesville Woman Stabbed By Strange Man At Home

GAINESVILLE, Ga. - The Hall County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the person responsible for stabbing a woman at her Gainesville home.

The woman was attacked after answering her door on Bald Eagle Place on Wednesday moing, according to a Hall County Sheriff’s Office alert message.

According to the preliminary investigation, a Hispanic teen assaulted the woman and stabbed her in her abdomen, deputies said. After the attack, the man ran away from the house, deputies said.

When deputies arrived, the victim was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital, where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, deputies said. They said the woman did not recognize her attacker.
