Several Gwinnett County children injured in wreck on Highway 316
Several children were injured in a three-car wreck on a Gwinnett County highway Tuesday afteoon.
News Chopper 2 flew over the wreckage on Highway 316 at Sugarloaf Highway. It is unclear how many people were injured, but Gwinnett police said two children were airlifted to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Their condition is unclear, but police said all victims survived the crash.
The crash caused major traffic delays in the westbound lanes leading up to the afteoon rush hour. Traffic was being diverted onto Sugarloaf Highway.
