Sarah Silverman, Michael Cera Launch YouTube Comedy

According to Google's boss, YouTube is going to be entirely deleted and replaced by Jash: a new video network fronted by comedy geniuses Sarah Silverman and Michael Cera. OK, that's not Google's boss, and your YouTube favorites are safe — but Jash is real. Silverman and Cera were joined by Tim Heidecker, Eric Wareheim and Reggie Watts at SXSW on Sunday to introduce the new network, which is funded by Google. "This is what we think is funny ... It's just a place to do stuff and fail or not fail," said Silverman, speaking about what will feature on Jash. Given that the promo features a terrifying baby with her face and a guest appearance from a band called "Piss Cup," it's fair to say it'll be amazingly weird. [Source]
