Roswell man Lionel Mikens arrested in cigar shop burglary

A burglary suspect who robbed a cigar shop has been arrested by the Roswell Police Department.

Deputies arrested Lionel Eugen Mikens in Smya On Wednesday.

On Monday, the owner of Cigar Merchant, on Alpharetta Hwy, arrived to his shop to find his window smashed and the money drawer of his register stolen.

Police said while they aren't sure whether the burglaries are connected, the same break-in method is the same in each case, with someone throwing a rock through a window, and stealing cash from the cash register, but no cigars.

Roswell police said they are working with Cobb County Police Department and other police agencies that have similar burglary cases.

Police said Mickens was driving a silver 2011 Nissan Versa and possibly a black Honda Accord. If other businesses have similar cases, they are asked to contact local police.
