A suspect in the disappearance of a Cobb County couple has been identified.

Telfair Sheriff's investigators have obtained warrants for 28 year old  Ronnie "Jay" Towns, wanted in the case of missing Bud & June Runion of Cobb County.

Towns will be charged for giving false statements and criminal attempt to commit theft by deception.  He is not yet in custody.

Family members tell FOX5 that the missing couple in their 60's was last seen in Marietta Thursday moing headed towards McRae, GA.  to look at a  Mustang that was posted on Craigslist.

Bud Runion 5'9 was last seen wearing a corduroy collared shirt and a blue canvas jacket.

June Runion 5'6 was last seen wearing a pair of tan or beige slacks and a plaid shirt.

 Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Ronnie "Jay" Towns is asked to contact the Telfair County Sheriff's Office at  229-868-6621.
