Retired cop Kelless Lory drinks poison in court after being found guilty of molesting girl
A retired US policeman drank a bottle of poison in court — just as a jury foreman pronounced him guilty of molesting a 9-year-old girl.
Kelless Twohearts Lory, 58, drank the unknown liquid from an over-the-counter vitamin bottle as the foreman announced he was guilty of aggravated child molestation for repeatedly attacking the girl, who was a relative, the Atlanta Joual Constitution reported.
Lory was being treated for the poison at a hospital, the paper said.
He faces two life sentences, plus 40 years for good measure, when he retus to a DeKalb County courtroom.
Lory was accused of molesting the girl, who testified against him, between July 2011 and July 2012.
He was retired from the Chamblee Police Department at the time of the attacks.
