Milton police say a Marietta woman who worked at a popular sandwich restaurant is accused of stealing credit card information from a customer. They want to know if there are other victims.Detectives told reporters that the cashier was Sabrina Hurst, who is now charged with credit card fraud.

”When you utilize the Inteet to make these purchases, you’re going to leave a digital footprint, and that kind of helped take us right to the perp, Milton Police Lt. Charles Barstow said.

Barstow said Hurst was on probation for the same kind of theft, so detectives arranged to arrest her as she visited her probation officer last week.

Schlotzsky's Deli

The victim said she remembered one of the last places she’d used the card before the charges started to appear was a Schlotzsky's Deli.

”She seems to have a propensity for this type of crime, so it wouldn’t surprise me if there were other cases that come to light, Barstow said.

The victim said she remembered Hurst taking her credit card and manually typing in the number and writing down the code. She said she will no longer hand her card to anyone and advises other credit card users to keep all their receipts.

She said she also wants to know why the deli hired Hurst when she had a criminal record for credit card fraud.

”People lie to their employers all of the time, she said.
