Rapper Young Dro arrested on a drug charge in Atlanta
Jail records show rapper Young Dro has been arrested on a drug charge in Atlanta.
The Clayton County jail's website lists Young Dro as being arrested Thursday afteoon for violating the Georgia controlled-substance act. Dro's real name is D'Juan Montreal Hart.
Police Sgt. Ashanti Marbury says the 37-year-old has been charged with possession of a controlled substance. Marbury says he doesn't know what the substance was.
In March, Hart was arrested on a theft charge in DeKalb County.
The rapper is known for several of his street anthems including, "We in Da City," ''Shoulder Lean" and "FDB." Last year, he released his fourth album, "Da Reality Show," through T.I.'s label Grand Hustle Records.
