Authorities have dismissed a rape charge against a pastor in central Georgia.

The Macon Telegraph (http://bit.ly/1KMM7vN ) reports that records show 39-year-old Yohandry Bravo was released from the Bibb County jail on Monday.

Bravo was arrested in Atlanta in May on an allegation he sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl at his home in January 2013.

Authorities sought the minister for more than two years before he was arrested during a traffic stop.

A defense lawyer told a judge during a hearing that Bravo was in Central America establishing churches and didn't know he was wanted. The defense also raised questions about the credibility of the man's accuser.
